Look Development:
When it comes to soda, Pepsi isn't merely a carbonated beverage; it stands as a globally renowned brand. With this in mind, I aimed to create a surreal fusion of color and light for one of the largest and most recognized brands on the planet. In animation, simplicity plays a pivotal role, especially in terms of cinematography camera movements and product animation. Our primary goal was to ensure that, at every turn, the brand name took the spotlight.
Process & Visualization:
We employed our trusted 3D Digital Content Creation (DCC) tool, Cinema 4D, to craft the ice cubes and simulate water condensation trickling down from the spinning can. In the case of the soda pouring sequence, we harnessed a vital Cinema 4D plugin called X-Particles to generate the dynamic flow of icy soda. The X-Particles plugin proved more than capable of handling this task, and the rendering process turned out to be less resource-intensive than expected. Our aim was to maintain a Cinema 4D-centric workflow, reserving the compositing stage for After Effects.
